Mission Statement

As a Christ-centered higher educational institution, Austin Christian University exists to develop students into Christian leaders who can think, live, and serve effectively in the church, the workplace, and the world.

Accreditation Statement

Austin Christian University holds applicant status with the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808).

Applicant status is a pre-membership status granted to those institutions that meet the ABHE Conditions of Eligibility and that possess such qualities as may provide a basis for achieving candidate status within five years.

Institutional Goals

Authority of Scripture:

Integrate and apply the certainty of biblical authority, an affection for God's Word, and a biblical worldview into all university content, programming, and functions.

Christ-centered:

Provide a Christian higher education experience in which Christ, His Church, and His mission are at the epicenter of all though, intent, and action.

Christian Service:

Develop graduates that dedicate their lives to serving God in the ministry and workplace.

Leadership Development:

Produce transformational leaders for Christ through engaging content, experiences, and mentorship.

Spiritual and Professional Development:

Foster an environment in which students continuously grow spiritually and professionally throughout their entire Austin Christian University experience.

Program Objectives

Students will:

Biblical Worldview:

Develop a biblical worldview that underlies and informs engagement with every form of knowledge and personal encounter.

Constructive Thinking:

Think critically by analyzing and evaluating data, arguments, and ideas; think systematically with creativity and imagination and think practically by making decisions and solving problems.

Cultural Engagement:

Appreciate, understand, and evaluate various cultures and interact with people and people groups with wisdom and discernment to effectively engage a culturally diverse world.

Effective Communication:

Communicate effectively with varied individuals and audiences in speaking, writing, and technology.

Servant Leadership:

Serve the Lord and people through one's spiritual giftedness and professional aptitude, following God's direction and call.

Program Outcomes

Students will:

  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills within professional, ministry, and academic settings.
  • Communicate effectively through interpersonal, oral, written, technological, and collaborative methods.
  • Exhibit the ability to think critically, systematically, and practically in professional, ministry and academic settings.
  • Analyze situations and apply sound biblical and industry concepts and theories when confronted by current management issues or scenarios.

Student Outcomes

Austin Christian University publishes student outcomes data in keeping with ABHE Commission on Accreditation expectations. Data are updated annually as new cohorts complete each milestone.

Student Retention Rate: 84.6%

First-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2024 and returned to Austin Christian University in Fall 2025.

Spring Persistence Rate: 93.8%

Students enrolled in Fall 2024 who continued their studies into the Spring 2025 semester.

Certificate Completion — Biblical Worldview and Spiritual Leadership

Austin Christian University awards a two-year Certificate in Biblical Worldview and Spiritual Leadership upon completion of 48 semester credits.

Graduation Rate — Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration program enrolled its first cohort in Fall 2023 with anticipated graduation in May 2027. The first BBA graduation rate will be published after the May 2027 commencement.

Employment and Licensure Pass Rates

Austin Christian University does not yet have a graduating class. Employment outcomes for the Bachelor of Business Administration program will be published alongside graduation rates after the May 2027 commencement. Austin Christian University does not currently offer programs for which licensure is expected; licensure pass rates will be published if and when such programs are introduced.
